HIPPY

HIPPY (Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters) is a home and group-based, preschool educational enrichment program working among vulnerable communities with families who face socio-economic and educational challenges. Recognizing each parent as her or his child’s first teacher, HIPPY helps parents nurture their three- to five-year-old children's readiness for school and their motivation and competencies to fulfill their potential.
Founded over four decades ago in Israel at the NCJW Research Institute for Innovation in Education, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, HIPPY currently serves over 25,000 families in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Israel, Italy, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA.
