The Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that an agreement was signed on September 5, 2011 by MASHAV - Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation and France. This is a declaration of intent for cooperation in extending aid to Haiti and to emerging countries in Africa. The agreement includes joint actions in the fields of agriculture and irrigation, public health and gender.
